Flat Products

A coil is the full-width product as it leaves the line. A slit coil is that coil cut lengthwise into the widths you need. Sheets are coils cut to fixed lengths as flat plates. Coils and slit coils suit serial production; sheets are more economical for one-off fabrication.

Tolerances follow the standard the product is made to; for flat products the limits of EN 10143 apply. Before the order we confirm your target thickness, tolerance class and surface expectation, and state them in writing on the quotation.

For sheets and stock items we can sell single pieces. Slitting and special widths may require a coil-based minimum so the line can run economically; we agree that minimum with you once we see the enquiry.
