A standard arrives with its documents.
Every item we supply is defined by the standard it was produced to and is handed over with the mill test certificate.
We make quality something you can discuss
In steel, quality starts with the standard and the grade the product was made to. That is why every price we give states the standard, the grade code and the coating class next to the thickness and dimensions — so the assumptions in the design and the material that reaches site match.
Atakaş Demir Çelik is a supply company: we do not produce the material, we select products made to standard, check them and hand them over with their documents. This page sets out which product falls under which standard, the checks we run before dispatch and the documents you receive.
This page makes no claim to a management system certificate; it describes compliance with product standards and the handover of manufacturer documentation.
Which product, which standard?
The table below shows the core standards and common grade codes for the items we supply.

Five checks before dispatch
Material is checked under five headings before it is loaded; if a non-conformity is found, the dispatch is stopped.
Document and batch match
We verify that the incoming batch matches its mill test certificate, heat/batch number and the ordered grade.
Dimensional check
Thickness is measured with a micrometer at several points, width and length with a tape, and compared against the tolerance limits of the standard.
Surface and coating check
Scratches, dents, scale and coating continuity are inspected visually; on galvanised material the integrity of the zinc layer is assessed.
Post-slitting and cutting check
Slit width, cut length and squareness are checked, and the edge burr condition is assessed.
Packing and labelling
The bundle label carries product, grade, dimensions, batch and weight; stacking and securing are checked.
Documents supplied with the delivery
The following documents are provided in full when the order closes.
Mill test certificate
The manufacturer’s document showing chemical composition and mechanical values (commonly EN 10204 type 3.1). Traceable through the heat/batch number.
Delivery note and label
The delivery note lists product, grade, dimensions and weight per item; the package label carries the same information for site acceptance.
Certificate of origin
Issued for exports and, on request, for domestic shipments; added to the customs document set.
All documents are kept in your order file and can be reissued after delivery if needed.
